BIRTHDAY PARTIES FOR KIDS
Henriette loves it to organize parties for children. The studio will be decorated with garlands and after singing for the birthday boy or girl and unwrapping the presents , the children start modeling clay. For example (fantasy ) animals, figurines or pots made with decorated lids . Usually there is a little break with lemonade and sweets .If you like to have a Birthday cake, you need to bring that yourself.
After the break the pieces are painted with brightly colored clayslibs so a tiger will really look like a striped tiger !the work must be dry before it is fired, and Henriette will glaze them all , it is usually ready between 1 week - 10 days.
It's very nice to do both clay modelling and painting.

Older children glaze the cups or piggy banks themselves first , for younger children Henriette will prepare the chosen items in advance. A pencil drawing is created and is filled with cheerful colors , called majolica . After the party Henriette will fire the pieces in the ceramic kiln, which means the cups are really waterproof and can be used.
The work can be collected after a week.

TEAMBUILDING
It is also possible to make a joint work with a group for example as part of team building. This may be a relief of clay parts, which together form a whole, with a possible theme.
Or a wallhanging in felt, with lots of colors , you can see them in the pictures below. The price of teambuilding / clay relief or piece of felt depends on the items, it will be agreed beforehand. |
